God has seen me struggling,

With the emptiness in my heart

Since that tragic day in June

From this earth you had to part.

Each day brings more sorrow

Than anyone should have to bear

You had to leave this life too soon

So many moments we now can't share.

I would give anything to have you back

But, this I know can't be

To see your smiling face once more

And have you close to me.

Until we meet again in heaven

One wish I hope comes true

That God take my hugs and kisses,

And bestow them all on you.
